Close friends of mine approached me for a simple and cost-effective minor dwelling design for their elevated site located in the Whangarei Heads. The building footprint is approximately 84m2. Given the south-facing view, it was crucial to incorporate transparency through the building, allowing occupants to be sheltered from prevailing weather conditions while still enjoying the scenery. Construction to be completed 2025.
